Source: FMCSA Company Census File, refreshed daily. The public file can lag FMCSA's live records.
Recurring federal filings
- MCS-150 biennial update: every two years, month set by your USDOT number (table). Free in Motus.
- UCR: annual registration for interstate carriers (guide).
- IFTA: quarterly fuel tax returns, filed with your base jurisdiction, which for a North Carolina-based carrier is generally North Carolina (due dates).
- IRP: apportioned plates renewed through your base jurisdiction (guide).

North Carolina may also have its own intrastate rules, weight-distance or permit requirements. Check with the state's motor vehicle or transportation agency.
